About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a dedicated Human Resources Business Partner to join our high performing team in Brisbane. This role is integral to supporting our employee relations activities, helping create a positive workplace culture, and providing vital HR guidance to managers and employees alike.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver expert HR & ER support and advice, helping resolve complex performance and disciplinary matters while adhering to HR best practices and current legislation.
- Play an active role in the development and implementation of employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate workplace risks to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Collaborate with various teams to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment.
- Support and guide performance management processes in partnership with line managers.
- Contribute to ER projects and assist in policy reviews, ensuring alignment with legal standards and organisational values.
- Provide training and guidance on ER practices, contributing to an inclusive and supportive workplace.
About you Qualifications and Skills: - A tertiary qualification in human resources, employee relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or Employee Relations role, ideally with a background in case management.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex ER cases and influence outcomes.
- Skilled in data analysis to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- A commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and the principles of fair and safe workplace practices.
