Join a well-established engineering team specialising in heavy transport equipment. Based in Wacol, this company is known for its commitment to high-quality design and manufacturing. You’ll be working alongside engineers and two other drafters to develop technical solutions that meet industry standards.
 
About the role

• This is a 6-month contract role
• Onsite based in Wacol - no wfh options
• Monday to Friday, flexible start – finish times
• Collaborate with engineers and two other drafters
• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings
• Ensure designs align with engineering specifications and compliance requirements
• Assist with technical documentation and BOMs

About you
 
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualifications in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience as a Mechanical Draftsperson in manufacturing, mechanical, or transport industries
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering specifications
• Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
