About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Officer who will play a key role in processing customer orders, coordinating logistics, and supporting business growth. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused professional who can ensure timely and accurate order management, assist with export operations, and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Process customer orders accurately and within agreed delivery schedules.
- Provide responsive customer support, including technical assistance where possible.
- Support the export business to achieve sales and profitability targets, including air and sea freight coordination.
- Identify and address potential issues affecting order fulfillment.
- Assist with marketing and social media activities to promote business growth.
- Maintain professionalism while fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Monitor and manage operating expenses within the business unit.
- Contribute to business planning and goal achievement.
About you
You are a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage customer interactions, order processing. You are comfortable engaging with internal stakeholders and customers to affectively support business operations. Your experience includes:
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service or sales support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Familiarity with export documentation and Dangerous Goods transportation (preferred).
- Knowledge of agricultural products would be an advantage.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-driven approach.
